Dan Fournier
Biography

Dan Fournier has been playing guitar for over thirty years. A self taught player, Dan began his obsession for playing electric guitar in high school when arena rock ruled the airwaves. He has played in several bands and tribute acts along the way honing his skills while remaining entrenched in the music from his youth. In 2005 Dan joined Blue Monday, an 80's cover band from New York, that had recently transplanted to Charlotte. The band met with great success early on and soon became one of the most sought after 80's tribute bands in the region. The award-winning band Blue Monday continues to book dozens of shows in the Charlotte area and throughout the Carolinas each year, regularly drawing 100's of loyal fans. 

Blue Monday, increasingly growing in popularity, is a hair metal cover band founded on December 3rd, 1994 that has been in the business for over 21 years. Spending the first half of those years in New York City, where Blue Monday was born, the band moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. With several awards from Elevate lifestyles such as best local female Vocalist, and best local band  has a dedicated group of followers. In 2003 Jet Blue Airlines while marketing their "Red Eye 80's" flights, named one of their airplanes Blue Monday after the band. A well respected band in the scene Blue Monday wont be going anywhere.
